Variegated Swiss Cheese Plant 3 litre

A lovely variegated form of the Swiss Cheese plant with bold white variegation on the leaves and fruit pods. Slower growing than the green form and good for a house plant with some tolerance to dry conditions. Avoid full sun as this can burn the white variegation in the leaves. A reasonably tough plant that we have propogated from a stock plant acquired some 30 years ago.

The Curry Leaf Plant

We have a few plants grown from seed last year of the Curry-leaf tree. A native of India and Sri Lanka, it is a small tree suitable for pot culture with very pungent aromatic leaves. The leaves are used in curries. Flowers late spring to early summer with small white flowers, 5/16 of an inch across and are sweetly scented.

Murraya koenigii need warm temperatures with full sun to partial shade and a well draining loam based compost mix. The compost should be allowed to thoroughly dry between waterings. Fertilize weekly during the growing season and do not let the winter temperature fall below 18c° when watering should be very light. A small tree perhaps making 4ft in 5 years.

The Coral plant is a multi-branched sub shrub with slender rush like stems. The wiry branches start out erect then fall over cascading down in lengths as long as 4 ft (1.2 m). Flowers from spring until autumn outdoors in warm climates and all year long indoors. The flowers are produced in hanging clusters of scarlet tubular flowers about 1 in (2.5 cm) long that look like little firecrackers, inspiring the plant’s common name. Slow growing at first it will eventually fill quite a large pot given warm conditions. In the tropics it attracts humming birds for the flower nectar.

Bird of Paradise Flower 5 litre plants җ
This plant is a definite must if you want to grow an exotic plant for the patio with stunning flowers. Hardier than it looks and capable of bearing a few degrees of frost, either in a micro climate or in an unheated conservatory. The bonus for waiting maybe one or two years for it to flower is that it is just beautiful and doesn't it just remind you of holidays in warmer climates?

Persian Shield 1 litre plants 1ft tall
Persian Shield is among the most sought after foliage plants worldwide. It produces quite unique shimmering iridescent purple coloured metallic looking leaves. I used to grow this many years ago and at last this found a source of plants for sale. Used as a house plant in the UK it is a shade lover but with dappled sunlight the colouring is much stronger. A strong growing plant, in the right conditions it may attain 3 to 5ft and as much wide, it makes an excellent plant for summer shade bedding or placed in a shaded conservatory position. A rare plant so please do not miss out on this opportunity to acquire one.
