A rare and sought after tree not often seen for sale. A slow growing ornamental evergreen tree from mountain areas in Chile, it has a unique spiralling arrangement of triangle leaves on long “monkey tail” like branches. Perfect for small gardens for many years due to its slow growth. Mature trees reach 100ft and produce giant seed cones that contain edible nuts. (Takes about 100 years to mature to produce fruit so don’t hold your breath!) Anyone living around the Wembley area may have seen mature trees in Victorian gardens; these were grown on my great grandfather’s nursery from imported seed and planted by my landscaping grandfather.

A slightly smaller tree than bignonioides from northern China, but just as hardy with the added attraction that the flowers are a delicate pink. Large heart shaped green leaves for tropical effect. These are 2 year old plants for sale from 2006 seeds at about 2ft tall.

We offer seedling grown Dicksonia in 3 litre pots with about 2" or 3" stems (2ft to 3ft leaves)

We are able to offer you some 3 litre plants and larger 3ft tall 5 litre established plants of this fabulous water loving giant. Make sure you have enough space for this hardy monster exotic.

A fabulous spreading bright blue, broad leafed, hardy grass. Best contained in a pot for control and cut back the dead grass during winter, leaving room for the new shoots.

We have some 2 year old plants again if you want a head start in growing these lovely trees. Please allow 2 to 3 years planted growth if you want to coppice these trees giving them time to get established.

A 3ft bright green and white foliage grass with a strongly rhizomatous habit. Ribbon grass makes a problem-free ground cover without being too invasive. ‘Feesey’ differs from the normal form ‘Picta’ in that it has a pink tinge to the early foliage, fading as the leaves mature. ‘Feesey’ also has improved variegation with a lot more white content to the foliage than ‘Picta’.

A new Phormium strain with deep purple black foliage similar to Platt's Black but a taller plant. Hardy in many parts of the country apart from very cold exposed positions.

A small Phormium with slender leaves of a deep purple black. It makes a very useful container plant where black foliage is required for a striking contrast.
